6th Grade Scoop is a special night for 6th graders and their parents only! Parents and students will meet in the Forum Room with Mrs. Wilson from 6:00-7:30 PM and get the “scoop” on what 6th grade is all about. We will also enjoy some ice cream together. This evening will get you and your 6th grader off to a great start in Upper School!
Families will need to sign up for a 30-minute time slot (the sign-up genius will go out on Friday, August 9th). During their selected time slot, families will drop off all school supplies. 1st grade students will place all school supplies (bulk and individual items) on desks in classrooms. Students entering 2nd-12th grade will put all personal school supplies in their assigned locker, drop off bulk items in their first hour class, and will be allowed to decorate their lockers during this time. 6th-12th grade students will pick up textbooks from the Forum Room.
Note: Early Ed families may bring supplies to Early Ed Essentials (August 15 at 6:00 PM) or sign up for a time slot if desired.
Kindergarten families may bring supplies to Kindergarten Kick-Off (August 15 at 5:30 PM).
“In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!”Philippians 2:5-8
