Cornerstone Christian Academy welcomes your interest in our school! Here you will find a stimulating environment that encourages a love for learning and the development of Christian character.
Cornerstone has several opportunities for parents and students to have a first-hand look at our school. Our High School Preview Night is held in late February or early March. We also welcome you to arrange a tour, visit a classroom, or have your student attend for a partial day. Call the Academy office at (309) 662-9900 to set your appointment.
Current Cornerstone families enjoy continuous enrollment from year to year. The Enrollment Contract and fee(s) are due by May 1st in order to secure a student’s spot for the upcoming school year.
Applications for students in grades K-12 and Early Education Applications for new families are accepted beginning February 1st of each year. In order to evaluate the student applying, the following must be included (forms are available under the "How to Apply" tab):
1. A completed Application for Admission (K-12) or Early Education Application with the corresponding non-refundable fee attached
2. A completed Student Application (grades 9-12)
3. A copy of the student's most recent report card
4. Three (3) Student Recommendation Forms. Only one (1) Student Recommendation Form is required for kindergarten applicants.
Please note: Applications will not be considered unless they are complete. Upon receipt of the application, your student may be scheduled for a diagnostic academic examination appropriate to the grade level. The parent will also be contacted for a family interview which will be conducted by an administrator.
Once a student has been accepted, a non-refundable enrollment fee of $400 for each student must be received within two weeks of acceptance, accompanied by the Enrollment Contract with the payment plan selected.
Realizing that Cornerstone may not be the ideal match for every student, acceptance decisions are approached with prayerful consideration. In general, each level of the Academy builds on all others. Therefore, admission at the various levels also builds on others:
Early Education - First come, First served
Grades K-5 - Application
Grades 6-8 - Application and Ability
Grades 9-12 - Application, Ability, Achievement, and expressed desire to attend
Feel free to contact Ciara Corley or Jessica Wolfe at 309-662-9900 with your Admissions questions.
